Green Stretch Development - Waghagad, Akola (1 km, 1000 Trees)

Waghagad is a peaceful local pilgrimage site near Mahan Dam, District Akola, Maharashtra — surrounded by temples and visited by devotees and local communities throughout the year.

As our next major environment campaign, Kasley Foundation is planning to develop approximately 1 kilometre of green stretch by planting trees on both sides of the road and creating a drip irrigation water pipeline to ensure every tree receives regular watering and survives long-term.

Our Plan

• Approximately 500 trees on each side of the road
• 1,000 trees in total along the 1 km stretch
• Approximately 1 km water pipeline on both sides
• Drip irrigation system for regular, sustainable watering
• Sufficient water source already identified and available at the site

This is not just about planting trees. It is about planting trees and ensuring they survive, grow and create lasting green cover for Waghagad and its visitors.
