Every child deserves to feel included, valued and confident, regardless of their circumstances or visual ability.
On 30 September 2026, Kasley Foundation took a small but meaningful step towards that vision by providing school uniforms to 77 students at Late Kanubhai Vora School for the Blind, Malkapur, Akola: 48 boys and 29 girls.
Run by The Blind Welfare & Rehabilitation Association, Akola, the school educates visually impaired children. For these students, a school uniform is more than just clothing. It is a symbol of belonging, a connection with their classmates and a reminder that they, too, deserve every opportunity to learn, grow and dream.
The initiative provided 153 garments, valued by the school at ₹27,315:
The shirts and pinafores carry the Kasley Foundation label, a small mark representing a larger commitment to education, dignity and social inclusion.
The school wrote to us on 30 September 2026 that the uniforms provide “essential everyday clothing, ensuring their comfort and confidence as they pursue their education.” It also gave a written receipt of the same date. The school's letter is shown with the photos on this page.
A child's ability to see should never determine their ability to succeed.
Children with visual impairments deserve the same dignity, encouragement and opportunities as every other child. Supporting their education means helping create an environment where they can build confidence, develop their abilities and work towards an independent future.
We believe that meaningful change does not always begin with a grand gesture. Sometimes, it begins with meeting a basic need, recognising a child's dignity and reminding them that their community cares.
Imagine what we could achieve if more people chose to contribute, volunteer or simply help spread the word.
At Kasley Foundation, we believe that charitable contributions should go directly towards the cause. Our foundation operates with a 0% administration fee, with no salaries or overheads charged against donations, so that every rupee donated can go towards our charitable initiatives.
